Natalia Richards and Anne Boleyn

Our artist is working on the cover for Natalia Richards‘ latest Anne Boleyn novel “The Falcon’s Triumph”. The book is in the final stages of editing and the cover reveal will be ready very soon. This is a must-read for all Anne Boleyn fans.

Toni Mount and Malice

The artist is also working on the cover design for Toni Mount‘s next medieval murder mystery novel in her best selling Sebastian Foxley series, and this one’s called “The Colour of Malice”. Toni tells us that the novel is nearly finished and we all can’t wait to find out what happens next to Seb and his friends and family.

Laura Loney and Modern/Tudor Life

We’re also putting finishing touches to the layout and cover of a really fun Tudor book from Laura Loney. This one’s an irreverent look at modern day life and how being more like a Tudor might be the answer to all your current problems. It’s a fun book and it’s illustrated throughout with sketches and images from Laura herself. Many of you will know Laura from her beautiful book “‘Twas the Night Before Tudor Christmas”, and this new book really doesn’t disappoint.

Speakeasy murders are breaking out!

Author and playwright William White is pleased to announce that there are a number of venues now looking to stage his “Speakeasy Murder” play, published by MadeGlobal.

William White is deeply involved in casting and staging his play and is thrilled that many more people are now going to be able to see his creation. He also tells us that he’s deep into writing his next play for us to publish, and we can’t wait to find out which historical setting he’s put this one into. It’ll be fun and interractive just like his first play, so it ticks all the boxes for a successful play and stage show.

Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Books

And we also have a brand-new project on the way… a little excursion from our usual history books. Tim, the owner of MadeGlobal, has always loved the Fighting Fantasy series of books and was an avid reader of them in his youth. Those books which say “Turn to page XX if you want to drink the potion”. Well…

We’re working with fantasy and mystery writer Joe Lawson to create a brand-new interpretation of these books. Set in a creepy castle, there are clues, mysteries and monsters aplenty. We hope to bring many more interractive fiction and fantasy gamebooks to market. It’s really exciting!

For this first project, and for our future Choose-Your-Own-Adventure books, we’ve had some custom software written to tie it all together and make sure there aren’t any unintentional dead ends. The image here is a snapshot of just the first part of this new book, so watch this space!
